wash cold, inside out
cold water keeps color and shape. inside out protects the surface and any tonal mark.
dry low, or hang
low heat or air dry. high heat is what shrinks and tires fabric early. hang-drying is always the safer choice.
wash less
most pieces don't need a wash every wear. airing out keeps them fresher and lasting longer.
skip the softener
garment-dyed cotton softens on its own. fabric softener just coats the fibers.
